I Am Worth It

I am alive, here, right now.

I am worth it.

I breathe this delicious air. The air that Jesus breathed. The air that Buddha breathed. The air that makes fire.

I am worth it.

What surprise do you give me today? What’s for lunch? For dinner? Who will visit? On the phone. In my thoughts.

Will you give me the soothing pitter patter of rain? Or the sun which sends shadows everywhere? Or perhaps the gentle snow?

I am worth it.

So many inventions in my time that appear – for me – television, smartphones.

I Am Everywhere

Imagine that you are a little bit bigger than your body.
Realize that your skin doesn’t really hold you in.
It only seems like it does.

You’ve expanded a foot in all directions around your body.
You feel good. Really good.

Now, expand to fill the room.
You pass through the chairs, tables, plants, easily.
Sense yourself everywhere in the room at once.
It feels amazingly natural, doesn’t it?
Everywhere you look in the room, you are there too.

I Am Calm

I am calm.

My inner world is mine.
I choose peace there.
I sit quietly and feel the earth beneath me, supporting me. It’s always there.
I am calm.

Even being a little calm calls more, stronger calm.

I breathe in fresh air, a fresh viewpoint, fresh understanding.
Breathe in. Breathe out.
I place my attention on me alone. My thoughts drop away.
Guardian angel, strengthen me.
I am calm.

Hum of the Meadow

I love walking in a meadow of tall grasses. It’s like wading though dry water. I can hear the “swish, swish” of the grasses as they speak among themselves.

And then the best part – the high pitch hum of the crickets. Not individual crickets, but all of them united – one unending, beautiful sound. I always really like this sound, and look forward to hearing it. However, it became even more profound for me after I started meditating many years ago. Within 3 days, my ears started ringing during meditation with exactly this sound of the crickets.

How to Stop the Overwhelm

Overwhelmed? Too many things to do? Like an endless list, with things that put themselves back on the list every month, every week, every day?

I did.

Then one day, I said that from now on I would honor this list all morning, but come lunch, I am free for the rest of the day to do what I want. Sort of “give to Caesar what is Caesar’s and to God what is God’s.” And to me what is mine: peace of mind.

I need to honor my own needs, not just the needs the modern world places upon me.

How to help your pet go beyond

I just read something that I wanted to share with you that I think is a really important message
It was something written from a veterinary of his thoughts from his practice thru out the years
How many pet owners go to his office when it is time for their pets to exit and depart earth and go on to heaven
They do not want to be there when they leave and bring their pet into the office
He was saying and I am saying
Your pet is your family and is part of your family

How to Deal with a Negative Person

How to deal with a negative person.

The best way to deal with a negative person is to stay away from them. They are toxic as they stand.

But you are probably listening to this because you cannot get away from this person – either they’re your boss or your relative.

Before you meet this person, prepare for the situation. I mean prepare energetically. Picture everything going remarkably well, surprisingly well. Hold the image for 20 seconds.

As much as possible, stand or sit at right angles to the person. You do not want your body to face them.
